What I'm Watching --
A Comment I heard got me thinking...
Welcome!!
Steven Bartlett, CEO and host of The Diary Of A CEO, said something that made me think. He said that we all live in our own echo-chamber. He continued that thought by explaining that the algorithm that suggests our next watch has a goal to keep us watching. In order to do keep us watching, we are offered other videos like the ones we have already watched.
In an effort to help us break out of our own echo-chambers, I intend to upload information about videos that I have found interesting, as well as the link to allow you to get more information.
Please note: It is each person's responsibility to determine their own course of action. Graceful Boundaries and its Founder take no responsibility for the choices made after visiting our site.
I hope you find benefit here! {prayers}

This video includes --
General "Water-fasting" suggestions:
General Note:
Fasting should be paired with rest for the greatest health benefit.
Per Dr. Alan Goldhamer: 44:10
Everyone should -- 1. Fast 12 hours daily
- This could include eating our last bite 3 or 4 hours before going to bed.
2. Fast once a year for a week.
Someone with a medical condition should participate in supervised fast(s) however long it takes to resolve the condition, however frequently it takes to get well. (c. 58 minutes)
Longer fasts are generally --
10 days, 14 days, or 20 days
The longest suggested fast is 40 days.
"Refeeding," introducing food back to the body, after longer fasts is imperative: 40:41
Refeeding:
Begins in the morning
First, [one day for every week fasted) : drink fresh veggie and fruit juices (and broths, depending) (no fiber) re-hydrating, getting glucose without overloading, transitioning body to a feeding phase
Second[one day for every week fasted?],
fresh fruits and veggies
Then, steamed and starchy vegetables...
Transitioning to a whole plant-based, SOS diet [SOS = minimizing or eliminating salt, oil, and sugar] should take about half the time that the person was fasting.
NOTES: Fasts should be supervised.
40 days is generally the max.
Before beginning a fast,
please see additional warnings: c. 1:10.
Disclaimer:
All that is here is Truth to the point that I understand it. I am a human being. I make mistakes. This blog has errors. I just don't know what they are, because this is written out of the honesty of my heart.
In all things, whether to agree with me or not is completely up to you. I claim nothing except that this is my heart. You are responsible for what you do with it.
I would encourage you to ask God to show you His Truth. He is the One that we can trust. The Bible is His Word to us, and He is faithful in its interpretation. Study it and ask Him to show you the Truth. I ask Him questions, and He answers.
There are four stories about Jesus' life that were included in the Bible. They were written by three of Jesus' disciples, Matthew, Mark, and John -- as well as a doctor who spoke with many eye-witnesses, Luke. Their books are known by their names and are the first four books in the New Testament.
Two of them, Matthew and Luke, recorded this thought:
Matthew 7:7, "Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find, knock, and it will be opened to you." (ESV)
Luke 11:9, "And I [Jesus] tell you [His followers, including me (and you, if you choose)], ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you."
We are invited to "ask," "seek," and "knock." In response, God is available to hear us and to respond. James, a family member of Jesus, wrote a letter that was also included in the Bible. He writes, "Draw near to God, and He will draw near to you." (James 4:8aESV) Jeremiah 29:13 confirms, "You will seek Me [the God of the Bible] and find Me, when you seek Me with all your heart." (ESV)
God desires to hear from us. :)
Many people (many of them, male) have studied and talked and argued and wondered about the meanings of the Scriptures, the Bible. It is the responsibility of each individual to seek out the Truth for themselves.
I am just a person like you. I listen, I hear, I understand, I make mistakes, and I explain my experience. If it is a benefit to you, I am grateful. It is solely the responsibility of the reader to make your own determinations about what you believe.
I encourage you to choose wise counsel as you do so.
May you be blessed in knowing the Truth, and more importantly in knowing the One Who showed it to us.
